The goal was to create a band capable of playing 1940s Big Band Swing all the way to today's top charts ... Lanier Jazz  is that band !

 

Created in March 2011, Lanier Jazz appeals to all age groups. From our large repertoire of tunes, we tailor each performance to the desires and needs of our audiences. Some have called us "a dancer's band," others "a great concert group," and "a fabulous group for receptions."  All say we are "one of the best bands in Atlanta." Vocals performed by Cathy Morris are outstanding. The tunes, familiar to all, include those performed by great entertainers such as Glen Miller, The Stray Cats, The Beatles, Nirvana, Train and many others. At all of our venues, we have been invited back for repeat performances.
